nightwarden
Nightwardens serve as vesels to the hollow gloaming that encroaches during the night. Many religions are less focussed on the divine light and see the shadow as an equally powerful vessel. Thus, when the religious undertones are ones of loss, darkness and mystery, the Nightwardens take the stage as their silent protectors.
The Nightwarden is revered as a guardian of secrets, a vessel of quiet authority, and a guide for those who cannot face the dark alone. They illuminate the night without blinding the faithful, and drive back the day to embrace the silence of nightfall.
