templar
Templars are the most well known examples of devout warriors of the faith. They often are employed as guards at the temple or the hammer to strike against the enemy’s shield. Many Templars are those that find that mere prayer alone is not enough to shield those they wish to protect and instead pick up both a sword and shield to act as the true frontline against the encroaching darkness of their foes.
Tenets of a Templar
Honesty. Let your words reflect your intent. Speak clearly and consistently, reserving misdirection only when it serves a considered goal rather than convenience.
Courage. Stand firm in the face of challenges. Fear is natural, but it should not dictate your choices or prevent you from pursuing your purpose.
Compassion. Act with awareness of how your choices affect others. Protect or challenge those around you as your convictions dictate, and temper action with strategy and foresight.
Honor. Maintain consistency between your actions and your values. Strive to act decisively while minimizing unnecessary conflict or disruption, and let your example reflect the principles you uphold.
Duty. Own your actions and their consequences. Defend those under your care, respect positions of authority when useful, and let your faith and judgment guide your path above all else.
